Elsburys in the Community

Supporting our local community is extremely important to us, we can never forget that Elsburys was built upon that exact same community nearly 30 years ago with local businesses entrusting their accounting to this new practice.

Now we have hundreds of clients who support our business every day, as well as other business partners whom without we couldn’t deliver our services.

Elsburys is full of active people, whether it be ice hockey, cycling, running, squash, scuba diving or even the odd game of competitive darts, we love it all, and so supporting those activities for our clients is something we are delighted to do.  Here is just a couple of examples we are involved in right now.

Bracknell Bees Ice Hockey team is extremely close to our hearts, with both Dave and I playing professionally for the Bees, we are now involved in the team from a coaching and sponsoring perspective.  The Bees play host to between 25-40 players around the local area, many of whom are juniors coming up through the ranks.

In addition to this we are supporting our client and media partner Lee Perry, owner of Ascot Media.  Lee and his wife Surrell have committed to running the London Marathon 2020, on behalf of Brain Tumour Research, and to raise funds for the charity run, Lee and Surrell have organised a golf day at Mill Ride in Ascot, where we will be entering a team of 4 as well as sponsoring the hole in one event, where you can win a new car!

If you would like to join in the day, then please do email Lee directly at lee@ascotmediadesign.co.uk I know he would be delighted to hear from you.

So, just 2 ways amongst many, of how every year we commit to giving back, which in turn gives us that feel good factor and helps us strengthen our relationships with our clients and even brings in a few new ones occasionally!

Why We Have Re-branded Elsburys?

As we approach nearly 30 years of Elsburys Accounting practice, it is fair to say that, not only has our own industry seen a vast amount of change, the whole world has, none more so than in the technological world. The way we work now compared to just a decade ago are almost like two different worlds.  We can now effectively offer our clients a 24/7 service with the introduction of our new Accountant Go App, and so we felt a new fresh and modern look was in order for our business.
